Lovell Academy Players Selected to the U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team!

Nov 01, 2025

We are thrilled to announce that Chyna Taylor ‘27 and Annabelle Lovell ‘27 have been selected to the 25-player roster of the U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team!

The U.S. Women’s National Team U18 is the highest-level program for American female players under 18. It brings together the top young talent from across the country to represent the United States in international competition, including the IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship. Players selected to this roster must demonstrate elite skill, speed, hockey IQ, and consistency, along with the ability to compete at the highest level under pressure. Leadership, work ethic, and character off the ice are just as important as scoring, passing, or defending. They select players who can contribute to a team environment and represent the U.S. with pride.

Chyna and Annabelle have been standout student-athletes at Lovell Academy for four years. Their dedication to skill development, attention to detail in training, and commitment to improving every day have helped them rise to the top of a highly competitive pool of players. Both have also shown leadership on and off the ice, inspiring teammates and younger players in the program.

In January, they will compete at the U18 Women’s World Championship in Sydney and Membertou, Nova Scotia, facing the best young players from around the world. This tournament is an incredible opportunity to test their skills at the international level, gain invaluable experience, and proudly represent Team USA.
