Dec 09, 2025

Lovell Academy girls hockey teams brought home major hardware this weekend!

The 16U Minor team captured the CCM Windy City Elite Tournament Championship with grit, teamwork, and standout performances at every turn. The Windy City Elite is one of the top mid‑season girls’ hockey events in the Midwest, drawing elite Tier II teams from across the region to compete in high‑level pool play and playoff games. It’s known for fast action, intense competition, and players who are serious about their development. With an incredible 15 points over the weekend, Ashlyn Cook earned Tournament MVP!

But, the success didn’t stop there. Our 19U High School National Team continued their remarkable run by claiming the tournament championship in dominant fashion. The girls finished the event with an undefeated 14‑0 record, showcasing depth, resilience, and hard work in every game.

The CCM Windy City Elite Tournament isa benchmark for elite girls’ programs, with each team facing tough opponents and top talent at every stage. For both the 16U Minor and 19U teams to come out on top speaks volumes about the depth of skill and culture of excellence at Lovell Academy.
