Nov 09, 2025
What an incredible weekend of hockey for Lovell Academy! All of our girls teams came into the 2025 Roc City Girls Fest ready to compete. On day one of the tournament, Lovell Academy teams won all 10 of their games!
The Roc City Girls Fest is one of the most prestigious and competitive girls’ hockey tournaments in North America, bringing together over 100 teams from the U.S. and Canada in 14U, 16U, and 19U divisions for a weekend of elite competition in Rochester, NY. Held across multiple rinks in the Rochester area, this event is widely recognized as a premier showcase for top youth girls hockey programs, giving players the chance to compete against high-level teams from across the continent.
Our 16U Tier II team went 6‑0, earning the Tier II championship. Meanwhile, the 16U Tier I girls captured the Tier I championship, proving that they continue to be the best in the country.
What made this tournament run even more impressive was the level of competition. Both teams beat three of the top 10 ranked opponents in their respective tiers, outscoring their competition 32 to 3 over the course of the tournament. That kind of dominance reflects incredible preparation, strong coaching, and teamwork that defines the Lovell Academy program.
