Living at Lovell Academy

DORM LIFE

All student-athletes live, train, and attend school on our 55 acre campus.

The Lovell Academy building contains our academic spaces, our student cafeteria and lounges, spacious dorm rooms, and a residential advisor, on six separate hallways on the second and third floors. All building entrances and dorm rooms feature individualized coded security access.

Our Executive Director, Hockey Director, Academic Director, and full-time School Nurse work as a team with the support of the six residential advisors to monitor and ensure the health and well-being of each student.

PRIVATE CAFETERIA

Room and board includes 3 meals a day plus snacks available at all times. Our dedicated chefs and cafeteria staff interact with our students daily, enabling them to truly customize the nutritious meals they prepare in our full on-site kitchen and add to our extended family atmosphere.

MENTORSHIP

At Lovell Academy, we pair older girls and boys with younger student-athletes to help them navigate boarding life. Older players lead by example, offering guidance on training habits, academics, and day-to-day routines, while also being a familiar, approachable presence. Having built-in mentors helps younger athletes feel comfortable engaging with older players, asking questions, advocating for themselves, and finding their place within the program. The result is stronger connections, growing confidence, and a tight-knit community that supports development at every level.
