Biography:

For the past 12 years I have been math for middle and high school level students in grade 7-12. Math is often seen as a difficult subject, but I enjoy bringing the subject to life, connecting it with students’ interest and building on their prior knowledge. Academically, I attended Fairfield University obtaining bachelor’s degrees in information systems and Business Management, Bentley University for my MBA, and Bridgewater State University for my graduate certificate in Education. Additionally, I am a trained International Baccalaureate math teacher and cannot wait to bring this high degree of academics to your children. Supporting students outside the classroom is important so during my career I have been advisor to the National Honor Society, Coach of the Math team (3 divisional championships) and led the Icelandic STEM educational experience. I am anxious to get to see all of our students as they arrive. I have 4 adult children living in 4 different states which feeds my love of travel. I love hiking, biking and anything outdoors if the weather is good, but please don't invite any reptiles, they scare me!
