Mr. Thomas grew up in southeastern Ohio before moving to Boston to pursue a degree in film production at Emerson College. He participated in his college's Los Angeles program where he reviewed screenplays for Hollywood producers. Deciding to follow his passion for the humanities, Brian moved to Ireland to pursue a degree in public history where he worked on University College, Dublin’s National Folklore Collection's Duchas Project, a digitization effort aimed at providing online access to its thousands of oral history records and artifacts. Currently, Brian teaches English Literature at Lovell and an online program at Franciscan University of Steubenville. His wife is a professor of French, and they love traveling the world together. They have a cat called Lili.
