Courtney Turner

Biography:

I grew up in Milton and attended Dexter Southfield School. Recently I worked at Brookline Public Schools, serving as the Learning Center teacher for middle school students. My pedagogical philosophy focuses on growth mindset and whole person learning. Prior to Brookline, I received my Master’s Degree in Education from Boston College. I studied Psychology and History at Union College. I volunteer for special Olympics, love dogs, and enjoy going to the beach! On the hockey side, she played Division I hockey and Division III lacrosse at Union College. While at Union, Courtney amassed the most points on the team as a freshman and was part of the ECAC All-Academic Team her senior year. After she graduated, Courtney was selected first overall in the 2017 CWHL Draft by the Boston Blades. She played with the Blades for three years before joining the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). She is currently a member of Team Bauer in the PWHPA.
