Department(s):
Biography:

As a middle and high school science teacher, working with students in grades 7 to 12, I know that science is ever changing, and students must be able to experience this through active and hands-on activities. Some of the labs I have always found fascinating are Forensics where we splatter the classroom walls to identify patterns and students investigate the “case” to find solutions. Having taught Biology, Forensics Physical Science, Robotics, and Botany I know that you encourage student learning through showing them how to problem-solve and allowing their creativity. Attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) I received a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and later entered the University of New Haven for my Master of Science degree in Education. My hobbies include reading, cooking, and staying active.
