Director of Hockey Kevin Poulin has a deep understanding of the experience of our student- athletes. After playing prep hockey himself then concluding his NCAA D1 hockey career at UMass Amherst, Kevin coached at both the prep school and collegiate levels. In 2004 he joined college teammate Tim Lovell and led skill development for Lovell Hockey. After many years as lead skating/skills coach, in 2016 he took on the role of Director of Lovell Hockey’s largest program, the Boston Advantage Hockey Club. Coach Poulin is extremely excited about this unique opportunity to partner with the rest of our leadership team to offer our student-athletes Lovell Hockey’s high level of expertise in player development, extremely rigorous academics, and comprehensive off ice training and wellness programming. He truly believes in the advancement of each child as an athlete and as a human being and looks forward to teaching them to be highly skilled hockey players, valuable team members, and young people with admirable perspective and values. Kevin coaches his youngest son Knox on the 2009 Boston Advantage Elite team, and his oldest son Kiernan started skating with the Boston Advantage Devos program at age 5 and is now a junior defenseman on Lovell Academy’s boys’ U16 team.
